Buy a Magic Pass
The most important thing to consider when buying a Magic Pass is the time of purchase. The pass will be cheapest between mid-March and 9 April. After that, the price will gradually increase. So be prepared and buy the Magic Pass before 9 April. This can only be purchased online:
Sales at the staffed counters of the Niederhornbahn are not possible.
Season ticket holders - Niederhornbahn
What happens to the season tickets of our loyal Niederhorn fans? Nothing! They can purchase their annual season ticket, their ski season ticket or the Beateberg ski pass from us as usual.
However, the Niederhornbahn sees a clear added value for season ticket holders when purchasing a Magic Pass.
Area of validity at the Niederhornbahn
The Magic Pass is valid from 1 May to 30 April of the following year, i.e. during the summer and winter seasons. Please note that the Beatenbucht-Beatenberg route may only be used in combination up to the Niederhorn or Vorsass. The pass cannot be used on the Beatenbucht-Beatenberg route as long as the Niederhorn is not visited. This is because the Beatenbucht-Beatenberg route is part of the public transport network and is subject to the fare regulations of National Direct Transport and the Libero fare network. Bicycles are not included in the Magic Pass, you can view the transport prices here.
Is the Magic Pass valid when using the Heartbeattrail?
No, unfortunately not. Unlike the Wiriehorn, the Beatenbucht-Beatenberg route will be outside the area of validity of the Magic Pass. This is because the Beatenbucht-Beatenberg route is part of the public transport network and is subject to the fare regulations of National Direct Transport and the Libero fare network. The Magic Pass is only valid if the Beatenbucht-Beatenberg route is included in an excursion to the Niederhorn.
